Canadian Blood Services members reach a tentative agreement

Ratification vote to be held in early January 2013.

Winnipeg (12 Dec. 2012) - Members of the Manitoba Government and General Employee's Union (MGEU/NUPGE) employed by the Canadian Blood Services reached a tentative agreement with the employer on December 6.

The bargaining committee will now move to prepare a ratification document and will be scheduling ratification meetings for January 2 in Brandon and January 4 in Winnipeg. Meeting notices will be mailed out in the next week with more details.

In the meantime, affected members are encouraged to update their contact information here to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once available.
