Help stop the cuts to Frontenac Ambulance Service

Care about ambulance service in the Frontenac area? Find out more about reduced service.

Kingston (09 May 2013) – Paramedic members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) employed by the Frontenac Ambulance Service will be holding an information picket on May 11 to highlight the issue of reduced service to the public.

Cuts to ambulance service hours

The picket will take place from noon until 2 p.m. at the Catarqui Town Centre, 945 Gardiners Road in Kingston.

The County of Frontenac is cutting 4380 hours per year from ambulance services. Frontenac Ambulance Service is responsible for a vast area and these cuts could result in devastating consequences.

OPSEU/NUPGE members are concerned about how reduced operating hours will affect the residents of the area.

Show your support by joining these members on May 11.
