HSABC set to represent psychiatric nurses at contract talks

Experienced team heads into bargaining in May.

(HSABC/NUPGE) will be at the bargaining table on May 15 to represent the interests of registered psychiatric nurses as the Nurses Bargaining Association kicks off contract talks.

Bargaining begins for registered psychiatric nurses in May

HSABC/NUPGE will be represented at the table by Larry Bryan, a registered psychiatric nurse (RPN) at Haro Park Centre and a member of the Provincial Occupational Health, Safety and Violence Prevention Committee. Bryan is also a member of the Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum Working Group.

Also representing RPNs will be experienced negotiator Dani Demetlika, a senior labour relations officer at HSABC/NUPGE.

The contract expired March 31.
