MGEU/NUPGE honoured by Paramedic Association of Manitoba.
Winnipeg (25 Sept. 2012) - Later this fall, the Manitboa Government and General Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE) will be honoured at the Manitoba Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Awards Gala with the 2012 EMS Excellence Award for the union’s work in public relations on behalf of the province’s EMS Professionals.
The annual event – taking place this year at the Victoria Inn and Conference Centre in Winnipeg on October 27 – is hosted by the Paramedic Association of Manitoba. The awards gala honours exemplary service by Manitoba’s EMS Professionals and those who help to further the profession in this province.
This year's event is being hosted by Kimberly Dawn of QX 104, featuring performances by singer Stacey Nattrass and comedian Jimmy Mac. Ticket information can be found on the InterAct 2012 website at www.upom.ca/interact.
