NAPE members reach new agreement with Deer Lake

Four-year deal contains pay raises totalling 13%.

St. John's (21 Dec. 2010) - Members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE/NUPGE) have reached a new collective agreement with the town of Deer Lake.

The four-year agreement has been approved by the workers and adopted by the town council.

Deputy Mayor Sandra Pinksen said in announcing the deal on behalf of the town that it contains pay raises totalling 13% over four years.
