NAPE reaches agreement for WHSCC employees

Ratification votes scheduled next week in Newfoundland and Labrador.

St. John's (8 April 2009) - The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE/NUPGE) has reached a tenative agreement for approximately 350 members employed with the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WHSCC). Ratification votes will take place next week.

NAPE represents approximately 22,000 workers in the government, health care, education, corrections, food processing, financial, retail, security, finance and hospitality sectors.
