NBU clerical and regulatory members reach tentative agreement

"A lot of hard work went into these negotiations. We're proud of everyone who took part. Now we will present the deal to the members and hear their opinions." — NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle

Fredericton (24 June 2015) — Members of the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) in the clerical and regulatory bargaining unit have reached a tentative agreement.

Third collective agreement reached for NBU members

The Clerical and Regulatory bargaining team negotiated with representatives from the provincial government for the past week. An agreement was reached over the weekend.

The NBU/NUPGE looks forward to the next step in the process which is to present the deal to members, answer their questions and hold a ratification vote.

"A lot of hard work went into these negotiations," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle.

"We're proud of everyone who took part. Now we will present the deal to the members and hear their opinions."

This is the third collective agreement to be reached this month. NBU/NUPGE members of the Resource Services and Specialized Health Care Professionals bargaining units reached tentative agreements and both have ratified the contracts.
