NBU members in the Engineering and Field bargaining unit reach tentative agreement

"Like all negotiations, there was give and take. We will present the deal to the members and look forward to hearing their opinions." — Susie Proulx-Daigle, NBU President

Fredericton (16 Nov. 2015) — Members of the Engineering and Field bargaining unit of the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) have reached a tentative agreement.

NBU/NUPGE members to vote on agreement in the coming days

Over the last week, the negotiating committee was at the table with representatives from the provincial government. The tentative agreement was reached on November 13.

The NBU/NUPGE looks forward to the next step in the process which is presenting the deal to the membership, answering their questions, and holding a ratification vote.

"The negotiating team did a great job and put in some very long hours," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "Like all negotiations, there was give and take. We will present the deal to the members and look forward to hearing their opinions."
