NBU members reach tentative deal

"Now it's time for the membership to study the tentative agreement and vote." — Susie Proulx-Daigle, NBU President

Fredericton (22 Jan. 2016) — Members of the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) who work as Industrial Training and Certification Officers (ITCO) have reached a tentative deal with the province on a new collective agreement.

The two sides emerged from negotiations with a tentative agreement on January 20. The ITCO bargaining team will now present the deal to members, which will be followed by a ratification vote.

NBU/NUPGE members to vote on contract

"I want to thank the bargaining team for the hard work they've put in on behalf of their colleagues," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "Now it's time for the membership to study the tentative agreement and vote."

The members of the ITCO component run the apprenticeship program for all trades people in the province.
