NUPGE members receive cost-saving benefits through Advantage Program

The National Union has identified ways to make every day needs more affordable. That's why NUPGE created the National Union Advantage Program.

Ottawa (13 Sept. 2013) - The National Union Advantage Program (NUAP) is a non-profit trust created for the benefit of everyone affiliated with NUPGE through our member unions. It has two purposes, each based on the principle of strength in numbers:

Membership services: making a variety of services (such as insurance, credit cards, legal services and mortgages) available at reduced rates and prices.

Collective purchasing: offering substantial savings to participating components and locals by negotiating the best rates available for equipment, telephones and courier service.

The National Union has identified ways to make every day needs more affordable. That's why NUPGE created the National Union Advantage Program. Union members receive prefered rates because of their NUPGE membership on services such as home, auto and travel insurance are made more affordable.  With 340,000 members nationally, and large blocks of members in many provinces, NUAP has the ability to negotiate many advantages for members that reach beyond our collective agreements.
