St. John's (28 May 2013) – Workers who have been on strike against Labatt Breweries will receive a show of solidarity from supporters today starting at 12:15 p.m.

Send a message for fairness

The rally will be held at the Labatt Brewery location on Leslie St. in St. John's to send a message to management that workers need to be treated with fairness at the bargaining table.

Seven weeks on strike

Members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE/NUPGE) have been on strike for almost seven weeks over concessionary bargaining demands by the employer. They will be joined by members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour, other union affiliates and activists from across the region.
