Send HSAA/NUPGE's Olympians a message!

Members and staff of NUPGE and the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA/NUPGE) will be cheering loudly for a pair of colleagues competing in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Calgary (18 Feb. 2010) - Members and staff of NUPGE and the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA/NUPGE) will be cheering loudly for a pair of colleagues competing in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Susan O'Connor, a Respiratory Therapist, and Mike Douglas, an XRay Technician, both employed at Calgary's Foothills Hospital and members of HSAA, are competing in the women's curling and skeleton events respectively.

"We're all pulling for Susan and Mike, as they chase their dreams of going for gold," said Scott Pattison, HSAA Communications Officer. "It's going to be a memorable, life-altering experience for these two individuals.  HSAA and NUPGE are extremely proud of them and their pursuit of sporting excellence."
