Campaign will remind Albertans of the vital role that health care workers play
Edmonton (18 Dec. 2007) - The Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA/NUPGE) is planning a media campaign to remind citizens of the value of health services as its members prepare for another round of collective bargaining with provincial authorities.
"HSAA is raising its public profile through media advertising," the union says on its website. The common message throughout the campaign will be to remind citizens that health care workers form a "vital part of your health care team."

Beginning on Jan. 7, ads will run on Shaw Cable channels for a three-month period. Billboards will be on display in February, at locations near hospitals across the province, and bus shelter ads also will be posted in many areas.
Global TV ads will be part of the campaign as well. They will run on morning, noon and evening newscasts during the first three weeks of February. Compete information on the campaign is available from HSAA at the link listed below. NUPGE
