Young Workers - poem

Young Workers

     By Theo Hill, age 15

You see lazy

You see unmotivated

You see needy

You see awkward

What do you see when you look me?

You see arrogance

You see wanderers

You see entitled

Federal Health Committee releases report recommending pharmacare now – NUPGE calls on federal government to heed and take action

“Pharmacare will save lives, reduce suffering and lower costs by billions of dollars each year. Canada is the only country with universal health care that does not have pharmacare. Canadians deserve better and must demand better.” — Larry Brown, NUPGE President

“Privatization and heavy workloads are both huge issues at Children’s Aid Societies across Ontario. Holding strong for an agreement that addresses both of these issues is a huge victory for both the people who provide children’s aid services, and the children and families who depend on them.” — Chrisy Tremblay, a member of the Local 454 bargaining team and the Vice-Chair of OPSEU’s CAS sector
