Commercial highlights NBU/NUPGE members off the clock

“Our members have been on the front lines battling the pandemic on behalf of their colleagues, friends and family. The last 2 years have been difficult for everyone, but to see NBU/NUPGE members rise to the challenge each day is remarkable and inspiring.” — Susie Proulx-Daigle, NBU President

Frederiction (14 Feb. 2022) — The latest commercial from the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) shows 3 members when they are off the clock and enjoying our great province.

NBU/NUPGE members vital to New Brunswickers, especially through pandemic

“As New Brunswickers, we love our province and all the things it affords us, like its natural beauty and relaxed pace of life, which allows more time for friends and family,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. “The past few years have placed a lot of strain on our province, so we wanted to show some of our members getting the opportunity to enjoy those experiences and show how important they are to the fabric of our province.”

While the NBU/NUPGE represents more than 10,000 members in hundreds of different professions, the 3 members in the commercial are an advanced care paramedic, a respiratory therapist and a public health inspector.

All 3 professions are vital to the well-being of New Brunswickers every day, but their role has been even more significant during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our members have been on the front lines battling the pandemic on behalf of their colleagues, friends and family,” said Proulx-Daigle. “The last 2 years have been difficult for everyone, but to see NBU/NUPGE members rise to the challenge each day is remarkable and inspiring.”

All filming was done in accordance with provincial guidelines regarding COVID-19.
