Concerns being expressed about latest round of cuts

With the next federal elections looming, prominent supporters will show their opposition to the latest round of cuts. They will also be offering potential solutions to address the future of our national public broadcaster.

According to the co-chairs of Radio-Canada, j’y tiens! / CBC, I Care!, Louise Poirier and Clive Doucet, "A gathering, such as the one at the National Arts Centre on March 9, will send a clear message to policy makers that Canadians all across the country wish to keep their national public broadcaster, with sufficient resources to be able to fulfill the mandate entrusted to it by the Canadian Parliament. "

The Pour l’amour de Radio-Canada/For the Love of CBC event will be a chance for residents of Canada’s capital region to express their attachment to our national public broadcaster, in addition to being a great opportunity to see their favorite artists for free.
