HSAA urges members to attend health meetings

Meetings planned across the province to gather information on reforming the Alberta Health Act.

Edmonton (10 June 2010) - The Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA/NUPGE) is encouraging members to play an active role in meetings across the province to assist in reforming the Alberta Health Act.

The meetings began this week at Medicine Hat College and end July 15 at the Capri Centre in Red Deer. A full list of meetings and dates can be found at this web address:

To register, Albertans are asked to select the session they would like to attend, then contact Alberta Health Services (AHS) to advise which session they wish to attend:

The Stelmach government has come under fire for placing limits on the number of people from the general public who can attend the meetings.
