James Clancy and Larry Brown re-elected by NUPGE

The 340,000-member National Union of Public and General Employees is one of Canada's largest unions.

Vancouver (19 June 2010) - James Clancy has been re-elected National President and Larry Brown has been re-elected National Secretary-Treasurer of the 340,000-member National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE), one of Canada’s largest labour organizations.

The two leaders were returned unopposed for another three-year term by delegates attending the union's 2010 triennial convention this week in Vancouver.

Clancy was first elected National President in 1990 while Brown has held office as National Secretary-Treasurer since 1986.
