The new contract includes 1.5 per cent retroactive pay for all members (going back to January 1, 2012), a $0.25 per hour increase on all rates this coming October, as well as a 1.5 per cent increase in 2013, a 2.5 per cent in 2014 and a 2.5 per cent increase in 2015.

Other contract improvements include expanded bereavement leave for members and improvements to vacation pay for part-time employees after 20 years of service.
