New collective agreement provides improvements for MGEU/NUPGE members.
Winnipeg (01 Feb. 2018) — Members of the Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE) who work at Family Dynamics ratified a new 2-year agreement on January 30. These MGEU/NUPGE members provide coaching and community support to vulnerable families in Winnipeg.
The agreement includes 2 years of wage freezes, but with a wage “reopener” in the event that additional funding is secured. Highlights to the collective agreement include increases to child and adoptive leave, bereavement leave and a 2-day wellness incentive pilot project.
The MGEU/NUPGE is encouraging members to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their collective agreement.
