The bargaining committee has been working hard to achieve improvements to the MPI contract since April 2012. The committee felt it was making headway in a number of key areas and in the last bargaining session, the employer tabled a package – stating everything they were prepared to offer was on the table.

The MGEU/NUPGE is currently preparing information packages, with additional details on the offer and how to cast a ballot. This package will be mailed in the next week to all members who have provided the union with their home mailing address (click here to update your contact information or contact the Resource Centre if you've never signed a membership card).

Manitoba Public Insurance is a non-profit Crown Corporation that has provided basic automobile coverage since 1971.
