NBU members in three bargaining units ratify agreements

"These agreements aren't reached without the hard work and dedication of the bargaining teams," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. 

Fredericton (28 Aug. 2015) — Three groups represented by the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) voted to ratify tentative deals for new collective agreements with the government of New Brunswick.

Education workers ratify five-year agreements

The groups include Education Part I (Non-Instructional), NBCC Education (Consultation and Development) and CCNB Éducation (consultation et élaboration). The trio concluded the voting process on August 25.  The ratified agreements are for five years and three months and run from May 1st, 2012 through July 31, 2017.

In addition to the three components listed above, the other groups to ratify new deals include Resource Services, Clerical and Regulatory, Professional Services for Students in the Public School System and Specialized Health Care Professionals.

"These agreements aren't reached without the hard work and dedication of the bargaining teams," said  NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "We're happy to get these deals in place for our members."
