New video blog from the Fairness Express

People are thrilled to see the big green bus and to know that someone cares about what is happening to them and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference.

Ottawa (30 May 2014) — The Ontario leg of the All Together Now! campaign's Fairness Express national bus tour is going strong, weaving its way across the province, talking to concerned Canadians about the growing problem of income inequality.

In communities everywhere, people are eager to talk about how they are doing in this economy and where they see room for positive change. The common thread is that keeping up with rising costs is getting harder and harder for the majority of people, while those at the top end — the 1% — are reaping all the rewards. As much frustration as they may feel, people are still hopeful and optimistic that there is a way to rebalance things to ensure everyone has a fair shot at opportunities to improve their lives.

People are thrilled to see the big green bus and to share their stories. They appreciate that someone cares about what is happening to them and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference.
