Bargaining to gear up for round of negotiations in September.
Halifax (24 July 2013) – Members of the Nova Scotia Government & General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) University will be starting negotiatons in September.
Bargaining proposals being developed for September meetings
The union and employer will be exchanging proposals on September 9, 2013, and have three days scheduled for negotiations on September 17 - 19.
Hard copies of the bargaining proposals will be distributed via a mail-out to members’ home addresses immediately after the exchange. Further updates will be provided either at local meetings, through email, or regular mail.
Your bargaining committee has reviewed the bargaining input received from members and is currently in the process of developing the bargaining proposals.
