NSGEU Nursing Week ad highlights importance of putting patient safety first

Halifax (13 May 2014) — For Nursing Week in Nova Scotia, which runs from May 12 to May 16, the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) is providing an opportunity for NSGEU/NUPGE nurses to continue to be heard on the important issues of patient safety, labour rights, and safe nurse-to-patient ratios.

To highlight the issue to the public, NSGEU/NUPGE has launched an advertisement campaign to tell the story of nurses working on behalf of families and patients across the province.
