OPSEU’s Human Rights Conference Nov. 12-14

Theme for 2010 is Get up! Stand-up! For Your Rights.

Toronto (5 Nov. 2010) -  The 2010 Human Rights Conference of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) — Get Up! Stand Up! For Your Rights! — is scheduled to take place at the Markham Hilton Suites on November 12-14.

The conference is hosted by the union's Provincial Human Rights Committee, Workers of Colour Caucus, Disability Rights Caucus, Rainbow Alliance and Aboriginal Circle.

"The Equity Unit and OPSEU's committees and caucuses hope to build community, commitment and capacity for human rights and equity work and to develop knowledge, tools and strategies to move equity forward," OPSEU says.

"In addition to the conference callout, we will be posting the conference program and other events and information."
