PEIUPSE/NUPGE members to celebrate at 2017 Pride.
Charlottetown (28 July 2017) — Karen Jackson, President of the PEi Union of Public Sector Employees (PEIUPSE/NUPGE), invites all members of the union to take part in the Pride Parade on Saturday, July 29th (rain or shine). The marshalling spot will be at noon in the Government Buildings Parking Lot. The Parade is set to begin at 1 p.m.
This year's event will feature a prominent Islander as parade marshal (TBA), street closures at key corners along Euston and Great George Streets, and feature the return of the Pride in the Park Celebration, an all-ages party at Rochford Square when the parade finishes.
