Charlottetown (18 Jan. 2017) — Members of the PEI Union of Public Sector Employees (PEIUPSE/NUPGE) are being encouraged to participate in an important survey about workplace violence, says Karen Jackson, PEIUPSE President. This survey will allow members to have their concerns heard by Health PEI.

In issuing the survey, Health PEI says that it "takes its responsibility for providing a safe workplace seriously, including preventing and reducing violence in the workplace. [Workers] are being invited to take part in this survey so that we can make improvements to our health and safety policies and practices. The results of this survey will help prevent injuries and illnesses at your work site."

The survey will take 15 minutes of your time to complete. PEIUPSE/NUPGE members do not have to provide names or contact information. All responses will remain anonymous and confidential and no question is mandatory; however, the more accurate and complete the information you provide, the more useful the data.

The survey is currently open until January 27, 2017. The survey can be found here
