Public service workers safeguard Saskatchewan

Province-wide SGEU campaign features firefighters, highways workers, social workers and corrections workers.

Regina (7 April 2009) - The Saskatchewan Government and General Employees' Union (SGEU/NUPGE) has launched a television campaign to raise public awareness of the vital role that public service workers play in safeguarding the province.

 

Firefighters, highways workers, social workers and corrections workers are featured in a television advertisement being carried across the province. It focuses directly on the challenging, yet vitally important work that so many public service employees do to keep Saskatchewan families safe and healthy.

The ad will run on CTV, Global and CBC stations from April 6 to April 25, 2009.
