SFL equity conference set for Feb. 11-12 in Saskatoon

'Participants will learn about the obstacles different equity groups face every day in their workplaces and in society.'

Saskatoon (16 Dec. 2009) - The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) will hold an 'Equity Conference' Feb. 11-12 at the Radisson Hotel in Saskatoon.

"The five equity committees of the SFL - including Aboriginal, Human Rights, Solidarity and Pride, Women’s and Youth - working  together have developed this conference to educate members on equity issues," the SFL says.

"Participants will learn about the obstacles different equity groups face every day in their workplaces and in society. They will come away with ideas and tools to support workers from various equity groups."
