It is time to stop laying blame on inspectors when accidents happen and instead start questioning why the Ministry isn’t providing the training they know inspectors need.

“We went into bargaining with the position that we would not accept a deal that reduced job security or failed to address some of the inequities in pay and benefits in the collective agreement. This tentative agreement delivers that," says Walker.
“We are pleased the government has recognized the need to expand the services and hire more employees.”
