Assiniboine Community College instructor wins Apprenticeship Award of Distinction

Winnipeg (10 Nov. 2016) — The Apprenticeship Manitoba Awards of Distinction Gala Dinner was held on November 3, at the RBC Convention Centre.

Lawrence Grimeau wins awardMGEU/NUPGE members receive another Instructor of the Year award

Yet again, the Manitoba Government and Genral Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE) was fortunate to have a member recognized for excellence in their area of expertise.

Lawrence Grimeau, a plumber from  Assiniboine Community College, took home the Instructor of the Year Award. As written in the evening’s program, “Lawrence instills confidence and pride in his students and draws on his experience in the field to encourage students to be their best.”

The MGEU/NUPGE extends its congratulations to Lawrence and to all of this year's winners on their awards.
