HSABC posts full details of tentative settlement

Union representing health science professionals across British Columbia urges members to vote in favour.

Vancouver (25 Jan. 2011) - The Health Sciences Association of B.C. (HSABC/NUPGE) has posted full details of the tentative settlement reached between the Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association (HSPBA) and Health Employers’ Association of BC (HEABC).

"The Report to Members on the Proposed Terms of Settlement details the changes to the agreement and urges members to vote YES in favour of the agreement at ratification meetings starting Jan. 31," the union notes in an advisory to all members across the province.

"Telephone town hall information meetings for all members of HSABC are covered by the HSPBA collective agreement have been scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 26 starting at 7 p.m. PST," the advisory says.

"Members are encouraged to review the details of the agreement on the HSABC website. In addition, information booklets will be mailed to every member and should be arriving at members’ homes the week of Jan. 31, 2011.
