Online Encyclopedia Adds Climate Change Collection to its Virtual Pages

The Encyclopedia of Earth (EOE) adds a collection of reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, articles, FAQs, and links galore to their educational website.

 

Ottawa (27 May 2008) - This online resource is designed to make authoritative information about the environment widely available and easily accessible.

The reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) were recently added to the EoE's collection and are now accessible here. A program of the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Meteorological Organization, the IPCC publishes periodic reports on the worldwide scientific consensus about climate change and its potential impacts. The reports are the latest objective information about climate change.

Climate change is high on the list of public concerns in Canada. This site is one of many educational sites where people can get reliable information about the science and impacts of climate change.
