Solidarity camp for kids in Manitoba

Deadline for registration ends on June 21.

Winnipeg (10 June 2013) – What kid doesn't love heading off to summer camp? It's one of the reasons the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) makes it a priority to run camps for young people every year.

Manitoba Camp: August 18-24

This year's CLC Solidarity Kid’s Camp of Manitoba will be held August 18‐24, at Caddy Lake Camp in the Whiteshell.

This week long camp focuses on issues relevant to young people and is open to kids between the ages of 10-15, who are sons and daughters of union members.

Focuses on social justice and equality for young people

The camp addresses challenges facing young people, including social justice and equality issues. The Solidarity Kid's Camp of Manitoba combines learning with cooperative activities and loads of guaranteed fun. See the 2013 Solidarity Kids Camp brochure for more information.

The deadline to register for camp has been extended to Friday, June 21.
