Public Service Agency (PSA) covering the hundreds of BCGEU members in the public service who are expected to be seconded during the Winter Olympics next month

The memorandums for secondments to the Olympic Games Secretariat and the Vancouver Organizing Committee will provide seconded members with terms and conditions appropriate for the postings.

These memorandums of agreement (MOAs) offer improvements on the initial agreement reached in 2008 covering secondments to last year's Beijing Olympics:

BCGEU is also close to finalizing a similar memorandum covering deputy sheriffs and conservation officers who will be seconded to the federal government's integrated security unit for the games.
