HSAA and DynaLIFE Dx agree on a tentative deal

Edmonton (17 Sept. 2009) - The Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA/NUPGE) has announced a tentative agreement with DynaLIFE Dx.

HSAA represents more than 900 workers at DynaLIFE Dx labs in Alberta. The two sides have gone through a lengthy bargaining process to arrive at a proposed first contract for the employees.

"Through the Disputes Inquiry Board process and with the assistance of arbitrator John Moreau, HSAA is very pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with DynaLIFE in bargaining," the union said Wednesday.

"A meeting of all DynaLIFE Dx HSAA members will be scheduled very shortly for the purpose of communicating particulars of the tentative agreement. HSAA will be recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement. In addition HSAA will communicate plans very shortly for conducting a ratification process. This process will involve all DynaLIFE Dx employees affected by the bargaining process."
