Making your way around Convention

Navigate Convention with NUPGE’s 2019 Convention app.

Winnipeg (20 June 2019) — New for 2019, NUPGE worked with Chameleon Event App to create a comprehensive guide to Convention.

Using the app

From the home screen, delegates can access the full Convention agenda and add Convention events to their personal calendar simply by clicking the star next to each session. In Resolutions, delegates can see a preview of the resolutions and open the full document in the program of their choice. Under Documents, delegates have full access to policy papers, finance reports, rules of order, Convention policies, and the National Executive Board Report. Delegates will also be able to use the app to access news stories and photos, chat with other delegates, and see maps of the surrounding area.

Alerts will be displayed in the app as pop-up notifications. Once an alert is issued, an alert bar will appear at the bottom of the app and display a complete list of alerts. It is our hope that with the Convention app, participants will be able to navigate the Convention with ease and that the app helps make Convention a little bit greener by cutting down on printed material.
