The purpose of this weekly podcast is to help raise awareness of important union issues with members, in an easy to access audio format. From union opportunities to labour relations and political issues, the podcast will discuss timely issues with a range of guests.
First episode focuses on educational opportunities for NSGEU/NUPGE members
The National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) has been campaigning on the importance of unions over the last several years. The NSGEU is a Component of NUPGE.
"It's great to see the creative ways our members are taking on the issue of the value of unions," said Larry Brown, NUPGE President. "Unions are here for more than just the members. We have played, and continue to play, an instrumental role is championing issues of equality and economic justice across society."
