OPSEU welcomes biomedical and renal technologists at Trillium Health Partners

Toronto (27 Nov. 2018) — The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) is proud to be the union of choice for the biomedical technologists and renal technologists at Trillium Health Partners. These highly trained professionals voted to join OPSEU/NUPGE on November 8, 2018.

“Our new members have given themselves the power to improve working conditions and have a real voice in the workplace. They made a very smart choice.” said Warren (Smokey) Thomas, OPSEU President.

“Congratulations to our new members at Trillium Health Partners, and welcome to the OPSEU Hospital Professionals Division.  We are 25,000 strong, and our expertise, resources and strength are a powerful force to have on your side,” said Sara Labelle, OPSEU's Hospital Professionals Division Chair. “We are looking forward to making change together.”

Trillium Health Partners includes 3 different primary work sites: the Queensway Hospital in Etobicoke and the Mississauga Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital in the Peel region.
