Years of chronic underfunding and poor workforce planning have left many healthcare professions severely understaffed nationwide. The toll on workers is significant: nearly 4 in 10 professionals are contemplating leaving public healthcare within the next three years. 80% of staff report that working short-staffed is harming their own health.

Canada’s healthcare is at a breaking point.
