Workers at Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) stores and warehouses are being forced out on strike to protect our public services and decent jobs.

Every year the LCBO generates $2.5 billion in revenue. That $2.5 billion funds health care, education and other public services Ontarians rely on.

Doug Ford’s government is trying to privatize liquor sales and hand public revenues to wealthy owners of grocery and convenience stores. For Doug Ford making millionaires and billionaires richer is more important than your mother’s health care or your child’s classroom.

And when liquor store jobs are privatized, workers are often left with wages around poverty line the and no chance of benefits.

LCBO workers are fighting for the public services we rely on. We need to support them!

Here’s how you can help LCBO workers protect public services – if you can, join a picket line:

Justice4Workers has also set up some other actions to support LCBO workers – tell Premier Ford that you support striking LCBO workers and want him to negotiate a deal that protects the good jobs in Ontario that fund the services Ontarians need.

And don’t cross our picket lines either in person or virtually:

• Don’t buy from the LCBO stores or website during the strike (they are either privatized or run by scabs)
• Don’t buy from businesses that start selling alcoholic beverages when LCBO workers are on strike
