MGEU/NUPGE members negotiate improvements to collective agreement

Improvements to the agreement include a two per cent wage increase in each year of the agreement, an increase to the safety footwear allowance, and improvements to vacation and family leave.

Other highlights include a retiree health spending account, the ability to carry over vacation credits to retirement, and an improved benefit package, which will be implemented in January 2016.

The agreement will be finalized and signed before it's printed and distributed to members. Affected MGEU/NUPGE members are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract.
