NBU reaches tentative deal for members at Loch Lomond Villa

Fredericton (23 Nov. 2015) — Members of the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) who work at the Loch Lomond Villa have reached a tentative deal with their employer.

The group came to an agreement on November 20.

Collective agreement reached — ratification date being planned

"After nine days at the negotiating table, we're happy to achieve this result," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle.

"Both sides worked hard to come to this point, now it's up to the membership to determine the next step."

The deal will  be presented to the Loch Lomond Villa bargaining unit, any questions will be answered and a ratification vote will be held.

A total of 14 groups represented by the NBU/NUPGE have either officially signed new contracts, ratified a new deal or agreed to a tentative collective agreement in the past few months.
