NSGEU members reach tentative agreement with Cape Breton Regional Police Services

Tentative agreement reached for NSGEU members at the Cape Breton Regional Police Services.

Halifax (02 April 2012) - Members of the Nova Scotia Government & General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) employed Cape Breton Regional Police Services have unanimously ratified the tentative agreement at a vote on March 19.

The two outstanding issues of wages and the duration of the collective agreement will be dealt with through arbitration.

A request has been sent to the Minister of Labour for dates.
