NUPGE kicks off second pension webinar series

Ottawa (29 Nov. 2017)  — The second pension webinar series hosted by the National Union of Public and General Employees starts today with a webinar on defending good pension plans. This is the first of 5 webinars on pension issues that NUPGE will be hosting over the next 6 months. The webinars are being delivered in cooperation with the Shareholder Association for Research and Education (SHARE)

Webinar topics reflect needs identified by pension activists

The topics of the 5 webinars were picked after consulting with NUPGE pension activists. Topics and dates are as follows:

  • Defending good pension plans — Wednesday, November 29, 2017
  • Labour rights in pension investment — Wednesday, December 13, 2017
  • Pension design considerations —January 2018
  • Infrastructure —March 2018
  • Investing for Impact —April 2018
